Seasonal Biologist Aide (Part-Time)

 COMB is seeking an individual who, under general supervision, will assist in maintaining and monitoring the Lake Cachuma Oak Tree Restoration Program, monitoring the endangered Southern California steelhead trout population in the Santa Ynez River and its tributaries, assessing streamflow and water quality as it pertains to steelhead movement within the river system, and performing related duties as assigned.

Applicant must be a graduate of, or attending, an accredited college or university, holding or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in biology, environmental studies, or a closely related field.  

Six months of experience in the collection of field data related to fisheries management is desirable, but not required.

A valid California driver’s license and an insurable driving record are required.
